Check out the PSPFlash-Card application for the PSP from HardHat. This is a nifty little utility that will simulate flash cards for memorization exercises. We like homemade applications like this, because they’re usually designed by people who actually have a need for the utility. It’s intriguing to see people taking advantage of the PSP for learning-related functionalities, even if they don’t necessarily utilize the system’s powerful visual and audio capabilities.
Users can load the first set of cards with information, such as words or phrases, and conceal one side while trying to remember the appropriate match. It works just like flash cards in real life, except it’s on your PSP, which makes it infinitely cooler. It might trick you into finding that you’re having fun while you do things like learn foreign languages, memorize scientific equations, get a grip on anatomy, and stuff the entire human genome into your brain.
