Zelda Retro Homebrew Should Tug A Few Heartstrings

We just got wind of another Zelda project that’s actually looking pretty good. Fans of the series will be happy to know that the nerdy mad scientists of the PSP homebrew underground are still fascinated by the iconic Zelda storyline and trademark pixel-art sprites.
This version was cooked up by the French coder who’s well-known on the boards as Darksidious. If you’re a fan of his applications, or just want to check out what the Zelda underground is doing, we suggest giving this piece of code a spin. Sources indicate a home-brewed plot, too: A magic-wielding sociopath named Azraal has whisked the princess off to some dark, scary location, and you’ll have to run your hero all over Hyrule in order to save her cute butt from imminent savagery. The game is wrought in the Lua system, so those with any familiarity at all will have a leg up when troubleshooting this game. Check out the demo version and await subsequent releases with stomach-rumbling excitement.
