PSP Rubik’s Cube v1.0 Is Now Here To Frustrate You To No End

Rubik’s Cube. It’s that thing that exists in real life that you have to spin around itself. You win by lining up the colors. You must’ve heard about this thing from somebody who heard about it from somebody. Maybe you even saw one in the wild. Well, anyway, a fellow by the name of Exter has just cooked up a homebrew simulation of the dreaded Cube for your PSP, so you can start swiveling away to your heart’s content. So far, the game’s only been tested on 5.00 M33-6, but any homebrew-enabled firmware should be able to handle it. Here’s the scoop:
Controls:
- R: Front move.
- Sqaure: Left move.
- Circle: Right move.
- Triangle: Up move.
- Cross: Down move.
- Left: Rotate cube left.
- Right: Rotate cube right.
- Up: Rotate cube up.
- Down: Rotate cube down.
- L + R: Front Inverted move.
- L + Sqaure: Left Inverted move.
- L + Circle: Right Inverted move.
- L + Triangle: Up Inverted move.
- L + X: Down Inverted move.
- L + Left: Rotate cube clockwise.
- L + Right: Rotate cube counter-clockwise.
- Select: Undo move.
- Hold Start for 3 seconds to scramble the cube.
- Hold L + Start for 3 seconds to solve the cube.
- Use the analog stick to peek at the sides of the cube.
This one could be a lot of fun. A nifty thing to mess around with when you’re sitting on the toilet, nursing your regrets. We’ll keep you savvy with updates as they drop, so stay plugged in.
