Okay, all y’all deranged, destitute, beer-swilling, poop-faced alcoholics out there: There’s a curious piece of homebrew that just dropped called Alcohol Engine, and its purpose is to approximate your blood alcohol content. Essentially, it just uses the chart that you’ll find on Wikipedia to measure BAC (blood alcohol content), but it’s rendered in a tidy, Sony-friendly way and smeared onto your PSP. Just take a second to ogle the video clip for a demonstration.
The author, Dark World, offers these release notes:
The program has three categories:
- Beer
- Wine
- Spirits
The beer and wine category will amount to drink, and for spirits, there will be a whole bottle.
Controls:
- Select the category and confirm with X;
- Choose the amount you want to drink and confirm with X;
- Press Square or Circle depending on your sex;
- Use L or R to increase or decrease your weight
So, the next time you drink a piss-warm gallon of malt liquor, make sure you turn on your PSP to calculate just how inebriated you really are, before you step out your door to confront the harrowing miasma of obligations, relationships, and responsibilities that comprise your so-called meaningful existence. Cheers!
