In case you were wondering what was going on with the Persona series, here’s what’s up: Instead of just getting a convenient port-over, it’s instead being entirely overhauled for a fresh drop on the PlayStation Portable. This is some sizzling stuff, folks.
The latest Famitsu spells out that the new release of the original PlayStation One hit will include tons of new videos from Kamikaze Douga, three difficulty settings, loads of new enemies, and additional save points.
Growlanser, which dropped on the PlayStation One in Japan about a decade back, is set to come thundering in for the PSP as well. Like its sibling title, Growlanser will feature all-new characters and some tweaks to its combat engine. Japan should expect to get hit in the face with this one on May 14.

We’re not sure about releases in the other global turf, but we’ll keep our ears to the ground for the tell-tale signs of an incoming drop. Stay tuned, gentle readers. We won’t let you down.
