Details Of PSP Persona Remake Revealed

We’re all waiting on the edge of our seats for the forthcoming drop of Persona for the PSP. In case you just tuned in, this renowned game from Atlus was originally cooked up for the PlayStation One, enjoyed massive popularity, begat a number of successor titles, and finally got picked up again for a major overhaul and brand new re-release on the small screen. Now, we’ve got our hands on a comprehensive list of what exactly is going to be different:
- Complete remake of existing of animation sequences and addition of brand new sequences by the Kamikaze Douga studio.
- New BGM arrangement by Shoji Meguro; back-up vox by Yumi Kawamura.
- Support for 16:9 widescreen format.
- New dungeon floors included in the primary story line, as well as in the Snow Queen chapter.
- New puzzles in the dungeons.
- Pre-rendered town maps without enemy encounters.
- Retweaking of encounter rate for a more balanced gameplay experience.
- Game difficulty option.
- Option to skip over battle animations; battle load times are two-thirds shorter than in the original version.
- New save points – and, a brand-new quicksave function.
