Check out the newest update to the excellent Java Mobile Game emulator for the PSP from its developers, M@x and sleepper. PSPKVM v0.5.1 is available for download in two different versions, both of which have an upgrade package for bringing an older version up to speed. The developers also leave us with this changelog:
2009-02-28 23:20 v0.5.1
- Enable input symbol in password textfield
- Fix OSK bug
- Fix drawRGB alpha blending bug
- Fix a couple of bug inside VM interpreter
Thanks very much to the development team for bringing this project to the PSP. The emulation project gives PSP users access to a huge array for games that have been developed over several years, mostly for intended use on mobile phones. Several key features are included in the software, such as the virtual keyboard which appeared in the last version. Meticulous users may want to keep note of bugs and hitches in the runtime, which may be of particular usefulness to the developers as they continue to churn out subsequent versions of the program.
