Guinness World Records Releases List Of Top 50 Most Influential Games

In case you haven’t heard, early this week Guinness World Records made public their official list of the fifty most influential games of all time. The acclaimed world record organization put together a panel of judges in order to generate the list, which spans all of the console gaming systems since Nintendo. Here’s the official rundown for you to peruse, agree with and vehemently disagree with.

There it is, folks. Actually, we’re very surprised that Mario Kart beat out Tetris for the number one spot, but we’re sure that the panel had a good reason for edging the paradigmatic racing game past the paradigmatic block-fitting game.
