The homebrew technician, Ibicelyne, returns with an update for his FBA4PSP emulator application. This is a homebrew program that emulates MC680000/Z80-based arcade games so that we can enjoy them once again on the comfort of our very own PlayStation Portables. Here’s the changelog for the current version:
- Kov2p and kov2p205 are well supported.
- Kov2 etc. games state saving is supported
- You can configure screen size in ini file.
- A few other game drivers are added without test.
Here are the release notes from Ibicelyne for v12.4.0:
- martmast could not work due to arm emulation issue. Fixed in new driver. However, the new driver is too slow. So I didn’t include it into this build
- PGM game texture is incorrect somewhere.
- Olds100a can not work.
Thanks again to the developer for his diligent work on this project, and for making a bunch of great arcade titles playable on the small screen.
