The adroit underground algorithm knight, Jum, has released the first edition of a brand new drum machine program for the PlayStation Portable. PXDrum Drum Machine Alpha v1.0 is a simple sample-based drum sequencer that can be used to sequence drum tracks.
This brings us back to the good ol’ days of ModPlug Tracker, FruityLoops, and Rebirth, all cooked up side by side on a 15” CRT monitor with a couple of Radio Shack plug-in disposable speakers and a hankering for some really underground, basement-style production cred. Yep, just looking at the high-contrast grid there makes a man want to stand up and start getting all analogue.
The download package includes a quickstart guide and a readme, so you should make sure to take a peek at both documents before sitting down and getting some face time with this rhythmic application.
