The much-acclaimed homebrew technician and innovator, Torch, has released a brand-new package that comprises a number of his homebrew projects to-date. Torch has previously released a pack of his ‘brew, and the new one appears very similar to the first. Essentially, Torch has updated his Lockdown XMB program and packaged it with the unchanged versions of Lockdown and Lockdown In-Game.
The three programs in the pack work to protect your PSP from intruders. Lockdown protects the PlayStation Portable with a password lock; Lockdown In-Game protects games while in suspended mode; and there’s the PSP Slim-only security program, Lockdown XMB Style, which utilizes the XMB wave as its background. Here’s the changelog from the developer:
Lockdown Pack 2 changelog:
- Lockdown XMB Style updated to v4.1
- Fixed a critical bug where a new installation of Lockdown XMB Style would hang after entering a new password for the first time.
- Lockdown unchanged at v4.0
- Lockdown In-Game unchanged at v2.0
Thanks again to Torch for these great security programs.
