Wagic 0.5.1 Offers Ton Of New Cards, New Bugfixes

One of our favorite homebrew titles ever, Wagic (also known as Wagic: The Homebrew), has been updated. The talented and diligent underground developer, Walolo, has just released Wagic 0.5.1. Although the developer doesn’t specifically name the game upon which Wagic is based, fans of the CCG genre will immediately note the similarities.

In Wagic, players can build their own decks of cards by way of the game’s built-in Deck Editor. There’s a credits system in place that allows players to access over 1,300 unique cards. Players can even add their own graphics for the cards.

The new version of Wagic offers more than 300 new cards since the last release. Additionally, Walolo tweaked the AI to make it even more formidable and added a brand new difficulty mode. He’s also ironed a bunch of bugs in the cards. We’ll say it again: This is a great piece of ‘brew. To newcomers of the game, there may be a significant learning curve (although it won’t take too long to get a hang of it); more experienced players can jump right into the game with virtually no questions asked.
