Another potential entry in the fabled homebrew competition makes its way to the deck, and this time, it’s an excellent-looking port of the popular Crazy Gravity game by Axel Meierhofer. The adept homebrew overlord, The Underminer, has, with the original author’s permission, created Crazy Gravity Portable v0.1, resplendent with smooth and colorful graphics and with a built-in level editor. Check out the official description of the game from the developer:
“You are the captain of a freight shuttle on a far away moon base. Crazy gravity rules the place. Your objective is to move cargo from their platforms to your homebase; avoiding obstacles like cannons, magnets and one-way gates.”
Here’s the interface description:
Interface (from left to right, see screenshot)
- lives (top,semi transparant)
- cargo waiting to be shipped
- cargo you are carrying
- Color keys you have collected (opens Color Gates)
- Fuel
- your time / time to beat
- landing indicator (green:safe, yellow: warning, red: slow down or crash)
And, check out this handy picture for the control information:

Thanks a lot to The Underminer for this terrific port, and we wish him the best of luck in the Spring competition.
