Coming up steaming hot from the brewers’ cauldron is another nifty-looking space shooter that hearkens again to the mega-popular Geometry Wars. Technically, this is an update to the game, but this is the first time we’ve posted the title here at PSPHacks. Agenaworld v1.7 includes a cool TV-out feature that’s only PSP Slim compatible, but if you’ve got the hardware, we recommend testing it out.
Agenaworld’s developer, the erudite underground implementer, edepot, offers up a quick description of the game for us:
“Basically, you start at Earth, and look at your radar for the purple marker and go there and press triangle button. You should be now at another map. Try visiting different galaxies by following the purple markers (in the radar)”
Please note that, despite not being able to utilize the TV output feature, owners of a PSP Phat will still be able to run Agenaworld v1.7. Props to edepot for his dedication to the homebrew gaming scene.
