The mystery-shrouded, numerical homebrewer, sandy62120, has just released a homebrew game on behalf of theallteam. It’s called PortableWarioWare, and in this initial release, the ‘brew features ten mini-games. You might run into some gameplay issues and bugs, as sandy62120 makes us aware the game is not yet fully up to speed. Here’s the official quote from the developer:

The prodigious punk rock programmer, zeroxorxdiexskater, has released an update to his instantly classic screen-smashing application, Smash My PSP!. In Smash My PSP! v2.0, the developer included some new features, including an easy-add utility for custom backgrounds. Strangely enough, he added the Pop Bean minigame to the background set. In case you’re just tuning in, SmashMyPSP! is a nifty application that lets you wreak havoc on the screen of your PlayStation Portable and will be immediately familiar to fans of the PC application, Desktop Destroyer. The serious scientists behind the JPCSP project have released a new revision of the popular Java-based PlayStation Portable emulator for the PC. JPCSP v0.2 Revision 955 offers up several UMD fixes, increasing the number of games that run well on the emulator. We’ve got a list of the UMD fixes, starting from revision 954. Here’s the rundown:

PopStation PSP v1.0 Comes Thundering Around The Bend

The frenetic underground coder, SuperFury1, has just released PopStation PSP. This is a port of the PopStation PC application that converts PlayStation One games into files playable on a PlayStation Portable. Check out the official release notes:

“popstation is a pc application that converts a PSX ISO/BIN to a PSX EBOOT. The package can be found on my site. Within the package there’s also a manual (manual.txt). To install, simply copy the folder in the package to you PSP GAME folder.

Underworld brewmasters should be pleased to know that Pegasus2000 has just released a new version of his excellent SDK for homebrew developers: Nanodesktop 0.3.7 offers up a bunch of bug fixes, brand new features, support for Python, and support for the PSP serial port. The competent underground brew technician, zx-81, has released a new version of his popular Thomson MO5 emulator for the PlayStation Portable. The Thomson MO5 was a 6809-based computer, first introduced in France in 1984. The original had 32K of RAM, a 40 x 25 text display, and included a built-in Microsoft BASIC.

PSPMO5 v1.2.0 is a port of DCMO5, specifically version 11 of the original. DCMO5 is probably the best Thomson emulator available for MacOS, Windows and Unix. Since the release of Ragdoll Cannon v2.1 just a few days back, its developer, Walar, has released Ragdoll Cannon v2.11. This new version is just a quick update, offering one major new element. In version 2.1, the developer added support for .xml based level building and added 13 new levels of his own. Now, he’s added one more feature to the Options Menu, as seen below in the changelog:
