That’s right. Important. Here’s why: The Netfront Internet Browser, cooked up by the simmering brains of Team P86, have tweaked their beta release a bit to allow for a more righteous usage of memory. You’ll be able to bypass the PSP’s RAM useage restrictions, and you’ll get a few bug fixes in the process. Check out the new changelog below:
What’s new
- Selection of the destination directory problem is now fixed.
- Used memory is always max. (Not Automatic).
- Now it at the startup it will show the max memory which will be used.
- The code is cleaned.
- New interface at startup and exit.
- Added a music and good theme to the EBOOT. (Thanks to Mazide).
- EBOOT is now smaller. (Thanks to Mazide)
- You can now exit the browser from the HOME button.
- Free RAM” func.
Freeing RAM
- Press Circle and quit from browser.
- It will ask if you want to exit or Free RAM.
If you’re just joining the fun right now, Netfront Internet Browser is still in its beta stages, so you’ll be prone to encountering a few problems here and there. Be sure to inform the developers of any problems or suggestions you see as you make your way through the program. Again, big respect to Team P86 for their initiative with this project, and we’re sure that they’re counting on y’all out there in the scene to make this a really clutch piece of ‘brew.
