Check out the newest version of OpenBOR, offered up by the adept backyard arch-implementer, SX. Check out the currently changelog, which documents the changes to the previous “Build 2227” as well:
Build 2227:
- Water Crash resolved.
- Memory Leaks for animations resolved.
Build 2227-a:
- FG Panel flickering fixed.
- Dreamcast Build Included 16/32 Bit modes not implemented yet.
In the small chance you’ve just hopped on board the BOR train, OpenBOR is an open source implementation of the game engine Beats of Rage. The reason that you’ll want to own this particularly awesome piece of code is because it’s one of the most popular cross-platform home-cooked open source projects currently growing and thriving on the Internet. Also, you’ll be able to engage in a ton of skull-crushing, flesh-rending gameplay environments – there’s enough fun here to keep you occupied until the forthcoming global information singularity (that’s in 2012, in case you forgot).
For now, grab the download package right here and appreciate this timely little update to the OpenBOR saga.
