A company called Zener Works, based out of Japan, recently announced a new visual novel game that’ll have fans of the genre leaping out their chairs. This weekend, a video preview of the game arrived. The game will involve players being tested in complex situations which they’ll have to overcome in order to progress and advance the plot. Check out the video here, and notice also the interesting way that the frames push together – an indication of how far close towards success a player is moving in a given scenario.
Diamond And The Sound Of A Gunshot is slated to arrive on June 18th; for now, we’ve got the preview to check out, and perhaps a bit of the back story to catch up on. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about this exciting title. Note that a bit of skill with Japanese won’t hurt a bit in enjoying this game; in fact, we’re not too sure about the schedule of an English-language release.
