The unstoppable underworld code chirurgeon, Light_AleX, has just released an update to his helpful homebrew application, PSN License Manager. Light_AleX has made a few tweaks to the code overall for PSN License Manager 0.20, which you can read about in the changelog here:
- Multiple PSP support using slots. Up to 30 slots is supported!
- Uses directories (slots) so the main directory is clean.
- Power checks have been put in place so PSPs don’t accidentally shut down while using the program.
This is a powerful little utility that allows users to safely manage their PSN license. Here’s the functionality list so far:
- Backup your PSN license.
- Restore your PSN license.
- Delete the backup license on the memory stick.
- Toggle USB Mass Storage.
- Up to 30 PSP support.
Also, Light_AleX has ensured that each license may only be used on one unique PSP, in order that this applications is not in any way a facilitator of piracy or any other related naughty behaviors. The code’s been tested on 5.00M33-6 and should work smoothly, but due to a few issues with flash resource loading, the developer encourages all users to consult the readme file prior to use.
