A new update for Fractal Universe—a relatively fast Mandelbrot set fractar where you can explore and move left, right, up, down and zoom in and out of the image you see at any time. This latest update has added features like the zoom viewfinder. It also has some more tweaks and fixed some bugs in the previous version.
The changes in version 3 are as follows:
- Fixed program exit screen to work properly when Home button is pressed.
- Implemented zoom viewfinder.
- Images are now saved to ms0:/PICTURE/Fractals so they can be viewed in the XMB picture viewer.
Just in case you can’t remember, in version 2, the quality setting is only up to 255 iterations and it has an implemented auto mode that can create frames of fractal growth effect video. Its program clocks the PSP to 333 Mhz and it saved images up to 24-bit format. Also, some information is then shown in the screens, and a click sound can be heard for every valid button press or when a new frame is rendered.
