Before the release of this version, I thought PMPlayer Advance is nothing but just another homebrew application out there. Little did I know that the PPA packs an awesomeness in media playing like nothing I ever saw before. In a nutshell, PMPlayer Advance supports MKV playback at 720*480.
What the PMPlayer Advance can support are:

MP4 Format( *.mp4 ):

AVC, baseline profile, level 1.3, <=480*272

MKV Format( *.mkv ):

AVC, baseline profile, level 1.3, <=480*272
AVC, main profile, level 2.1 or 3.0, <=720*480

The PPA is multilingual, and it also supports USBHost and NetHost, subtitles and TV out on the PSP 2000. This version added the CFW 5.50 GEN-B and can now support the PSP 1000. It also now has a mixed MP4 (MKV) file delete function.

Able to load it on my PSP Slim and run it, but it does not recognize any of the files it says it should, nor does it recognize MP3 files

the data gets currupted in psp 3000
I really looked forward to watching my mountain of .mkv on this thing…oh well. Hopefully full mkv support will come soon.
