CSPortable 0.8B2 and Source Code Released

Stealthkill’s CSPortable is similar to Counter Strike, which is powered by the Quake Engine. We’ve released a previous version before, but fortunately for us, the developer decided to release also the source code for the game. Now, that’s not to say that cheating will be easier once you’ve gotten your hands on the source code. It’s still nice to finish the game through hardwork right?

Here are the changelog for this download pack:

- Bullet Spread

- Serverlist

- Skybox (Added from Kurok0.4)

- Clean Menus

- Rescue Zones on CS maps

- Buy Zones on all Maps

- Bomb Zones on DE maps

- Grenade Fix

- Throw Weapons Fix (need some models)

- Fixed bug that allowed Terrorists to buy Counter-Terrorist Weapons

- Fixed bug that allowed Counter-Terrorists to buy Terrorist Weapons

- Fixed bug that allowed to plant the bomb everywhere

- Transparent Texture Support

- Some Menus Fixed

- 3rd Person Weapon

- Grenade Fix

- Mp5 Faster

- Mac10 Fixed

There are some bugs though that needs to be fixed like the fact that the app crashes when an attempt was made to create or join a game in Infrastructure or Ad Hoc mode. Single player mode though looks fine, and not anywhere bumpy like other homebrew games. Luckily, with the release of the source code, we can expect that these bugs will be fixed in no time.

PSP Tool v1.00 Released To Help Organize PSP Files

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

PSP Tool v1.00 Released

In the past months, we have posted a download link for the PSP Tool, which is basically a homebrew application allowing you to handle various Pandora and other common PSP tasks like checking the memory stick IPLs, backing and restoring the battery’s EEPROM, IdStorage, converting the battery to service mode, etc.

There are many more tasks the PSP Tool can do but of course, listing them all down here would mean we’ll have to occupy the whole webpage. But when before we only have a slightly insignificant version of this homebrew application, we are now gifted with its first full version–the PSP Tool v1.00.

Here is the changelog:

- Added: Detection of HEN version under System Information (thanks to Davee).

- Added: Detection of TA-088v3, TA-090 and TA-090v2 motherboards under System Information.

- Fixed: Made a change to improve the reliability of extracting an IPL using the first option.

- Fixed: If the original PSP firmware version cannot be retrieved “N/A” will be shown instead of nothing.

- Fixed: Crash if circle is enter.

- Fixed: The battery menu can no longer be accessed if the PSP does not support reading/writing to the battery EEPROM.

- Other: Changed the wave style used.

- Other: Decreased RAM usage by a massive ~2MB.

This version has more bug fixes and performance enhancement than what was released before, so be sure you get your hands on the download link to quickly access and install the app in your PSP.

Clickr v1.0 Full Version Released

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Clickr v1.0 (Full version)

A couple of days ago, we posted a download link for the beta version of the Clickr game. Now, we finally have the full version of this simple homebrew game. The Clickr is simple enough to understand: all you have to do is count the cars that passes by.

The controls for this game are: R (count one), L (substract one), SELECT (pause) and TRIANGLE (go back to main menu).

Here are also the changes for this version:

- 5 levels (2 new ones)

- 2 new places to play in

- Pause function (pressing SELECT)

- Better menu

- It participates in the Scenery Beta 2009 festival

If you count them right, you’ll automatically be taken to the next level. If not, you have to repeat the level you are currently into. In this full version, there are a total of five levels, although the developer promised that he’ll be creating more levels in the next updates. There are three versions of this game–one in English, one in Catalan and one in Spanish.

A Preview Trailer Of The Dissidia Final Fantasy US Version

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Dissidia Final Fantasy - a preview of the US version

As we’re all waiting for the release of the US version of the Dissidia Final Fantasy, let us first take a look at this preview from its makers. There are also some extras here that will help you understand more clearly the mechanics of the game.

As you can see from this trailer, there are more features in this one than the original version. In this update, you can notice that there are more balance-fixes, additional cutscenes and extra gameplay tweaks. And although I am sure you cannot wait anymore for the final release of this game, there are still some weeks left before we can get our hands on the Dissidia Final Fantasy.

There would be no subtitles for the game though so those asking for it might as well think first before buying or playing the game since non-English speaking gamers might find it hard to appreciate the Dissidia Final Fantasy.
