Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-B2 For PSP Released

Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-B2 Released

GENyUS, a coder, is now back with the new update for the bug fix we found in 5.50 GEN-B2 way back. This will be applied to his latest version of custom firmware. The Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-B2 solves some compatibility problems with the homebrew application Recovery Flasher, which is essential to Hellcat, etc.

To install this custom firmware: download the file below, and install it directly on 5.50GEN CF-B. Make sure you have this particular custom firmware less you install it on a lower version like the 5.50 GEN-A.

If your PSP has the custom firmware 5.00M33 installed in it, update the first 5.50GEN-A and then to 5.50GEN. After that you can install this Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-B2.

    I installed 5.50 GEN-B2 but i cant play Gi Joe Or Dirt 2, why isnt it working?

    Because you need 5.55 to play G.I. Joe and more than likely the same applies to Dirt 2.

    What he means is that you need firmware version 5.55 in order to play those 2 games. No custom firmware exists yet for version 5.55 though.

    I currently have 3.90 M33-3 firmware on mine, can I install this straight on top of the existing firmware?
