AVEC GPS v5 Can Now Support PSP 290 And Newer Firmwares

Homebrew coder Art has perhaps the most ingenious homebrew creation ever when he made the AVEC GPS. If you’re a geographically challenged person like my friend, you will need this application seriously. I mean, spending big bucks over a GPS navigator for your car might be the best way to keep track of the places you need to go to but if you can get GPS for free, the better right?
This new download from Art includes two versions of the AVEC GPS: one is the 1.5 kernel mode version where it can still connect to serial GPS devices; and the second is AVEC v5, which is a new user mode version that supports Sony PSP-290 USB GPS device.
