- Network Update is now listed as System Update, but, curiously, has the same options.

- Video Settings obviously doesn’t have the first four UMD-related toggles.

- System Settings now has a “Your Birth Date” option (second from top), and a…

The homebrew coders—Becus25 and Xenogears—of custom firmware 5.50 GEN released a new custom firmware—the MHU. The CFW 5.50 MHU is especially made for the Playstation Portable 1000 and 2000 (the flat and slim versions).

The readme file, however, is in Spanish so unless you’re some Spanish-speaking PSP gamer then you must translate the file first before plunging head-on in installing the application. You can use Altavista’s Babelfish to translate the readme text.

Personally, I’m leaning towards the 5.50 GEN (well, just because I own a PSP 3000). But of course for PSP 1000 owners, you should well go ahead with this version…

The NetUpdate Fixer 1.01 changes from its previous version a fixed bug with the 3.51. It also improved the patching system, which some downloaders have found problems in.

Now because a lot has been said about the custom firmware enablers and the compatibilities of some plugins and applications with it, the release of the NetUpdate Fixer 1.01 patches…

An update for the unofficial gpSP Kai Game Boy Advance Emulator for the Playstation Portable was recently released by its coder Takk. It is based on the work originally developed by Exophase.

This update, however, is currently only for the PSP Fat as it solves the problems and compatibility issues with the latest 5.50 GEN-B.

This version is also compatible with CF-B 5.50GEN and it’s not recommended to use the button to exit or enter the dall’emulatore menu.

Hopefully, there’ll be a version of this update for the PSP Slim and Lite in the future so that we won’t get bombarded with too…
