There’s another update with NEC’s TurboGrafx 16, which others might remember as a popular game console in the PC engine back in the days. If you don’t remember, I only have to tell you that the creators of this stuff are beyond genius.

And now, ZX-81 delivers fresh to us the latest update of Hugo v1.3.0—“a port of the famous Hu-Go emulator running on a variety of platforms.”

Here are the changes made to the Hugo v1.3.0:

  • Audio Track support for CD-ROM (support only MP3 format with stereo 16 bits samples at 22k or 44k rate)
  • CD-ROM TOC file format support.
  • Using TurboRip, ripped CD…

Words are not enough to describe the new version of OldPrisoneR & Andy_maN’s genius creation. The FuSa SD v1.0.50b has full-screen video output, full-speed game play and a fully functional POPS support. As greg mightily said in one site, “It’s the way TV out should be on the PSP-2000/Slim.”

Responses are gargantuan for the FuSa SD v1.0.50b. It works easily enough according to one user. This will let you enjoy the PSP/TV in the comforts of your own car. Just plug the PSP in your console and you’re good to go. If you have the old version currently downloaded in your…

There’s some Pingpong game on play here. First, the Defense Station Portable was released for the Playstation Portable (take note of the “portable”) then; a version was made for the iPhone. And now…. They are taking the Defense Station Portable back to the PSP.

Danzel’s originally crafted Defense Station Portable’s objective is simple enough: you set up shop in the area, cannons, laser towers, anti-air guns, etc. There is always an impending attack on your domain so you might as well be on defense (thus, the name Defense Station, see?). And once you take out each wave by the enemy, you’ll…

This is, as they say, the icing on top of the cake. And if it works, my kid cousin would probably go nuts and kiss my feet for discovering this trick. Dark_AleX has just released the PspStates for custom firmware 5.00 M33, which allows you to save everything—exact whereabouts, stages, high score, clothes, money, guns, accessories, etc—save it and you’ll find it the next day exactly as how you saved it. No frills, just like that.

It is still on its experimental stage but I believe it works with just about all games in the market today at it shares the…

I’ve got some good news, and of course, some bad news too. First off, Xenogears and Becus25 have finally released their first version of the Custom Firmware Enabler. This would finally allow select features to be in the Playstation Portable—those features that are most common in custom firmwares. Beware though that it does not include the POPs and the recovery console.

Here’s the even better stuff: the Custom Firmware Enabler v1.0 includes ISO support, which are backups of your legitimately owned UMDs). These ISOs are now working with handhelds sporting the TA-088v3 motherboard.

However, and here’s the bad stuff: PSP 3000 users…

I’m not much of a date or time looker, meaning I’m not usually aware of what time is it or what day it is especially when the weekend is upon me. But now thanks to new Dayviewer Beta 1 recently released for the Playstation Portable, we can now take note of the time while we’re playing.

One more good thing about the Dayviewer is that it would at least remind me of the time so I don’t lose track of it while playing… and forgetting about what I should do, like work.

Total_Noob created the Dayviewer maybe purely for this function… so…

As my 13-year-old cousin rants nonstop about why his new Playstation Portable can’t be hacked by some computer genius, I stumbled upon an article announcing the release of PSPrx Launcher version 2.2, which could load PSP plugins for ChickHEN users. Amazing isn’t it?

Apparently, as many ChickHen users sulk on one corner waiting for Team Typhoon’s ChickHEN R3 with plugin (PRX) to be releases (which, according to sources, is nearing completion already), XMBDebug has just made available for download the PSPrx Launcher v2.2 complete with codes enabling ChickHEN users to download PSP plugins into it.

Although others say it doesn’t work for…
