An update for the LUA-developed app AlphaBase has been released by its coder, DekraN. This homebrew application is an excellent bash debugging for your PSP. This release adds certain commands like Envelope’, ‘cenv’, ‘menv’, ‘cpu2′ and ‘tree’ in the app, and also introduced the ability to create multiple environments simultaneous with AlphaBase to manage multiple user executions like drawing a line and printing an image.

 

Here’s the complete changelog for this update:

- Removed the commands ‘ffind’ and ‘mfind’ since merged with ‘find’. Same thing goes for the command ’sys’, deleted nle and unified command ‘with’;

Namco Bandai, the genius behind the Tekken series, has just announced that Tekken 6 (PSP, Xbox 360 and PS3) has gone gold, and will finally be going through the manufacturing process. This latest installment of the popular action-packed franchise will ve packed with online and offline gameplay, as well as it will feature one of the best character lineup ever.

 

According to Namco Bandai, the game’s online features will include

Sony has just released their new 6.10 firmware that is aimed towards new PSP Go users. In preparation for the launch of the new PSP Go, this is as best as Sony can give us who are anticipating the things we can do with the new PSP.  

The firmware, which is now available here for download, is a must for new PSP Go owners so that they can make sure that their PSPs will be compatible with MediaGo and all the other PSP titles.

The first of the Tekken 6 video for PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP has just come out, so better check it out. If you’re still stuck with PSP custom firmwares 5.55 or 6.00, you must be forgetting that Yoshihiro has just released his latest 5.55 and 6.00 games (EBOOT.BIN) Decrypter. This will allow you to decrypt the firmware 5.55 and 6.00 from whatever UMD game you will get them from. It can also build an ISO image using UMDGen with the decrypted EBOOT.

Homebrew coder patpat has issued a new update for his PC program, the CTFtool GUI. This homebrew app allows you to create themes for your PSP that is compatible with CXMB. It also allows you to extract files from the themes’ format.

Raing3, the maker of EBOOTs PSP Tool and PSP Action Replay Converter, just came out with yet another homebrew application that will deliver one more trick for the homebrew world: the PSP CheatUp v0.10.

According to the developer, PSP CheatUp “is an application designed to simplify the task of updating the cheat codes” through the PSPs WiFi connection. The application can automatically detect and install cheats for CheatMaster Fusion, coderPR, CWCheat and NitePR. The cheat files are being hosted by GBAtemp.
