Homebrew developer  pen @ ClassG has just released an all-new version of his popular plugin, Macrofire. This 3.0.9 version supersedes your PSP controls to the max. Macrofire can remap buttons, adjust the analog nub sensitivity, enable rapidfire on whichever button and also record and execute button macros.

Here’s a translated changelog for this version:

The release of the new firmware 6.00 a couple of weeks ago caused a foreseen amount of interest in the PSP industry. Can you imagine what we can make of our own homebrew games if we managed to make it all compatible with a 6.00 firmware? Homebrew coder Art has perhaps the most ingenious homebrew creation ever when he made the AVEC GPS. If you’re a geographically challenged person like my friend, you will need this application seriously. Homebrew coder Yoshihiro’s Nintendo DS emulator for the PSP just got its latest update with the beta 7 version. Yoshihiro based this latest version on the comments made previously by gamers on past beta releases of this homebrew application.

We can note that Yoshihiro packed into this new version a speed increase, the use of L and R for touchscreen and the option to choose between black or white for cursor colors. So you want to customize your PSP with themes and all that other customization stuff? Well, here is your chance to get exactly what you want. Total_Noob just released his CXMB For Custom Firmware 3.71 To 5.50.

There is no available changelog for this release but just so you know, one can never have too many CXMBs especially if you love customizing your PSP themes. The good thing about this release though is that it will be compatible to firmware from 3.71 up to 5.50, so there will be no need for you to convert your firmwares or your themes.

As you very well know, we are so into emulators these days that we even found DS emulators and Sega emulators being marketed by homebrew coders. This one is a PC engine emulator for PSP released by an unknown Japanese coder. If you have the TurboGrafx-16 installed in your PSP, then this is just another update for that PC engine.

This is the first version of a PSP homebrew game that coder Dan369 has been working on for quite some time. The video posted above is the old version of the PSP Mario, so don’t be confused. This new version is a total recode from that old update.

Here are the features of this version:

- Classic HUD

- Complete mario/luigi animations (including death animations, turning animations & flag animations)

- Tilemap levels

- Now completely uses tile based collision.
