Fans of the application PSP Pandora Deluxe will be happy to know that its developer, DJB, has just released a new update. The program prepares the PSP Memory Stick to be used with the Pandora Battery. It doesn’t change your battery to Pandora, but it does copy programs to the Memory Stick. You can make the change manually.

What’s New:
Cleaned up the app a little bit, added a Status screen, and updated Hold+ to 3.5.

Keeping our heads ringing with fresh homebrew, the jpcsp team (with Shadow at the helm – hi from the bleachers!) drops a fresh revision for jpcsp v0.1. Revision 866 promises a lot of bug fixes, but also includes some further optimization. Expect better gameplay all around visually thanks to a jacked-up framerate.

Word from the front is that the popular homebrew project, BakonICE, is steaming ahead, and its developer, NoEffex, has made version 1.80 available to us peons. This is a tasty little home-cooked update that hosts the Socom FTB2 Cheat Device. Some tidbits from the changelog, for those of you in the know:

Flicker bug caused by _pspDebugScreenClearLine was resolved. Anti-Server lock is now removed. Animations applier has been added as a replacement for the anti-server lock. Mega overflow dilemma that gummed up version 1.70 of BakonICE was resolved.  A few other bugs got addressed, too.

We’ll keep our eyes on this project…

In case you haven’t heard, the PSP hackers over there in the boot of the Mediterranean have been drumming up a fresh new homebrew application that’s been deemed GoblinPSP. Italian PSP community member Moscas describes the application as a “utility multifunction PC.”

Available here, there’s a changelog included so you can track some of the updates from the previous version. The most notable fix is the clean-up of a major bug that caused the program to stop working on mosty systems. The current drop is available in both Italian and English.
