Nothingface420, who has several homebrew trophies under his belt, again created another fabulous theme for us. This new homebrew theme leans more to guys rather than girls, so I am sure those who loves action-packed games will love the intricate appearance (not to mention, macho design) of this theme.
This theme is an animated custom firmware for the 5.50 GEN. More or less, it has an interface not unlike the Counterstrike, or even DOTA. The coder uses minimum colors to strengthen the “macho” appearance of this theme. And while I am very fond of neutral colors, I don’t think the monochromic…

Homebrew coder PwnedTyler has issued two new themes for us–the Project14Xa And ProjectResistance. Both are in the format of CTF for 5.50, so I’m hoping we won’t have that much problem with installing and using it.
Project14Xa features a never-before-seen custom opening plugin, edited black PSN background, custom Hack ‘n Slash gameboot (courtesy of highboy), different keyboard clicks and a cool XMB wave.
Meanwhile, ProjectResistance has invisible icons with skull focus, invisible speaker bar and icon, custom opening plugin, custom gameboot and different XMB wave. It, however, has no PSP logo during gameboot.
So there you are, two themese for you to choose…

With the release of patpat’s CTF Tool GUI v2, it will now enable you to convert CTF 5.00 theme to 5.50. The CTF theme that the tester tried to convert using the CTF Tool GUI v2 is Nothingface420’s Grand Theft Auto IV for 5.00.
Homebrew coder Patpat says that the conversion process from 5.00 to 5.50 is beta may not always work. This may also not work with all Playstation Portable versions since the test was done on a PSP Slim (PSP 2000) running in 5.50 GEN-B. And since this is only in its beta form, there might also be a…

All Spiderman lovers would love this new creation of osnap1584. Based on the famous wall-climbing character by Marvel comics, Spiderman 3 theme features a clean but edgy interface for the Playstation Portable.
The theme basically features the black Spiderman—the one who went bad after some creepy creature got the better of our Peter Parker. Marc has released a theme for the PSP, the PSPTouch CTF for 5.00. Although there no custom gameboot included in the theme, it has that crisp look.
Mixing the colors of black, white and teal, the overall effect of the theme looks clean and uncluttered. Even the fonts (white) are well-displayed amid the backdrop of black and white lines.

WaffleKopter releases a new theme for the Playstation Portable. Based on the Assassin’s Creed, the new theme works with a light blue background bearing the iconic logo of Assassin’s Creed.
The color of the fonts remains in default (white) while the keyboard changes to transparent, thank to Nothingface420. Also, the background for each category (memory stick, videos, music, games, etc) changes when opened. A sample picture shows The Assassin in sideview among a vicious color of midnight blue (dark clouds, thunder and lightning).

So finally another Playstation Portable theme for my new gadget. I’ve been wanting something clean and crisp for ages. XanderChaos’ new creation, the Project 87, is a nice break out from the usual psychedelic themes out there.
To use this CTF theme, you need a CFW 5.00M33 or any update along with the latest CXMB plugin. Also, the downloaded theme is on a RAR file so you might probably need Winrar or 7Zip for an application (that is, if you don’t have one already).
