Well, yes, but what can you do with an emulator that doesn't involve the roms? Besides, I thought I read somewhere that emulators actually ARE illegal because you have to grab the original gaming console's bios to implant in the emulator to make it work and that the bios was the illegal component of the emulator (other than the roms of course). Maybe that only pertains to the GBA emulator but I thought maybe they were all that way

Well, I didn't think emulators were illegal because we have a bunch of them in the downloads section of this site.

Haha I didn't think you'd forgotten. Can I go ahead and install Suikoden without an Eboot just so I can start playing? Or will it not work.

actually according to international LAWS the only time an emulator BIOS or Game is considered illegal is if you don't own the actual console or games. in other words It's LEGAL to have a PSX BIOS ff you have the exact console model for it (eg. SCPH-9002, 9002.bin). Same with Games if you own the original an emulated one is considered as a legit BACKUP. I'd thought I'd point that out.

PS: Emulators are considered LEGAL as long as the devs that make them don't include such PSX bioses like PCSX and ePSXe
