Hey!1 a little help,please

i have a psp now 5.50 gen, but for exmple, i cant play dissidia, it comes with a message "the game could not be started 80020148"
before, i had it 5 00 m336..so, what am i doing wrong??
i have a friend who has 5 00m336, and he can play the game, but not on mine, even when i had 500 m336...am i missing plugins or something??
please help.

is this an iso or cso, or the umd?

if its an iso/cso then you need to adjust the umd settings. Try putting in a umd, and see if anything happens when you try to run it.

thank you,it works with a umd, but before that, i didnt need it.the thing is all my old games isco/cso work fine, except dissidia, and the new games that are just out... what can i do to make them play??? in my gen recovery, i have my play module enable and so on..but still doesnt play dissidia or naruto 3 for that matter...i need help with that...

change the umd settings to M33 mode that should work

Hello..
i did what you told me and still can't play dissiadia and its getting frustrating.should i download my psp 5.50genb or what else can you help me..i have all this new games and the same message come..could not start, could it be plugins?? did i messed up my settings?? any other advise from you,will be greatly appreciated..

some newer games may require you to have the umd in.. im not sure why it is failing for you.

did i made a mistake bringin my toy to 5.50?? when i was 5.00m336, didnt have that problem..its very frustrating...i've tried, and none of the new games i cant play...i dont know what to do...umd and everything,only the old games in iso/cso works....grrrrr!

the gen firmware will still work, i think its just because sony is encrypting their games better, you will need the umd in.. I dont care for some of the newer games, and the ones that i do play, ive modified to not use a umd.

i just noticed some of the new games saying "decripted"..is that what you mean?? so, i have to get the ones that say decrpted to play... i will try it, and let you know..

You will find a newer game thats been decrypted. Motorstorm, Dirt2.. those should work
