The official custom firmware 6.00, which has been released for the Sony PSP, has just been decrypted by the GEN group. So remember that about a couple of days ago, we posted an article about the 6.00? Well, here it is now… decrypted and will soon be ready for release too (hopefully).
Although the decryption is still on its first step, I am expecting that there will be some genuine change in terms of compatibility with games and other portables.
According to the GEN team: “The first stage of the discovery of 6.00 has therefore been reached and our team of developers fetishes will therefore continue its investigations to try to bring us more information about this topic. Note that Dark_Alex said he was not working on 6.00 M33 and that for the moment, no public 6.00 GEN is still expected.”
We have heard that there will be no M33 for the 6.00, so better kill your hopes for that one. But as with any other decryptions the GEN group have made in the past, I bet that we will see the light of the day when more details are revealed about this new project they’ve got going on in there.

Well, in light of the no M33, I’m not really that worried. The GENyUS group makes awesome CFWs. I currently have 5.50 GEN-A installed on my PSP-2001 and will probably update to GEN-B2. I’m sure the decryption and GEN CFW for 6.00 will be up to par and once again, work as their other GEN CFWs have.

Zoubou… why would GEN give a shit about umd purchases? They’re working out the bugs and will release it when it’s worth putting their name on it. dumbest thing ive read about custom firmware.

Guys … M33 is on the final steps with my group Massive Hackers. You think it’s impossible not it’s not . Me and some other guys wanted to do this .It’s was a really hard project . But we found the weaks of 6.2 and for us is an advantage.Wait soon will be released if u have some help for us send us at pikas75@hotmail.com .But serious it’s on beta on my own psp 3004 (UK) but this will work with 1000,3000 our achivment is to work also with 2000 .Wait and it’s on don’t give up .Just help us .A facebook group will be created

i red some articles on the internet that it couldn’t be hacked to play iso games
so i packed it in the same box and kept a side in the shelf
