According to reports, the official Sony developer has already released a beta version of the new 6.00 firmware. PSPGEN also included in their post a picture of this new PSP firmware. I don’t know exactly what this firmware can do but from the looks of it, it’s pretty promising.
Reports are saying that the 6.00 firmware has greater compatibility and interaction with the next 3.00 Playstation 3, which is scheduled for release next week. I am pretty confident now with the 5.00 but seeing as a new firmware is on the works now, then I guess it will also do great things for our PSP. I mean, more apps and plugin compatibility is a good thing right?
No news yet as to when Sony plans to release this to the world of PSP users. And because I am sure a lot of us are now eagerly awaiting this new firmware’s final debut, I can only promise that we will be posting more updates about it.
i tried n succesffully installed 6.0 in my psp but i cant play anygames in it plz help me
me too… i guess CSO and ISO games cannot be played anymore on v5.01 onwards… huhuhuhu
damn someone should upload games that are compatible with this stuff
