Originally, this should not be released to the public as this is especially commissioned by someone for a friend. But thanks to the generous spirit of this particular coder, chickut123, he decided to share it with the rest of the gaming world to enjoy.
The Homebrew Enabler Pack For PSP 2000v3+3000 will save you time and trouble of browsing the web and trying to download all PSP goods into one pack.
This download includes the following:
- 5.03 UPDATE
- ChickHEN R2
- CFWEnabler 3.60
- A readme written entirely by chickut123
Previous posts have also, of course, delivered download links for each individual application or plugin. But isn’t it nice to know someone is organized enough to compile all these much-needed installer in one comprehensible download package? Ultimate Homebrew enabler pack for PSP-2000v3+PSP-3000
I did not create anything within this pack, nor do I hold any responsibility for your actions.
This comes with absolutly no warrenty so follow with cation and do everything exactly.
If there are any problems with the instrustions or downloads, please tell me!
This pack was made for the PSP-2000v3+PSP-3000, PSP-1000 is not recommended to use this,
I will add it in time.
PREP:
This will not work on any other firmware than 5.03, If firmware is over 5.03, you are
out of luck. If you are <5.02 then update to 5.03(included). Just copy over from
PREP folder. After the update delete the UPDATE folder in PSP-GAME.
If you are 5.03 You are golden, just continue on.
First step, Backup all contents of the memory card. You can do that by enabling
usb mode and copying everything to a folder on your desktop.
Second step, Format the memory sick via the PSP.
Go to Settings-System settings-Restore Default Settings.
Third step, Enable USB mode, Add contents of step 1 into the first page the comes up after
enabling usb mode or the root of the memory stick.
Fourth step, exit usb mode and go to photo-ChickHEN-scroll down all the way and wait.
It should flash green and blank out. I have supplied a modified chickHEN so it will take
less attempts, but it is not perfect. If the above doesn’t happen, the PSP will crash.
Don’t worry, just try again. It will reboot into ChickHEN.
Fifth step, OK we’re half way there. I suggest keeping chickHEN on your memory stick
in case you shutdown your PSP,(which will happen). Ok, now enable USB mode again and copy
over the contents of step 2. Again to the root of your memory stick. Exit usb mode.
sixth step, Go back to your PSP and go to GAME-Memory stick-CFWEnabler 3.60(should be only
thing there). You will boot up into the CFWEnabler Menu.
Seventh step, There are many options, press x on Flash and start. There will be a prompt,
press x on yes. It will flash somethings and ask you if you want to start in the
customfirmware.
There you go, all you need in one complete pack!
FAQ:
Q. I’ve tried to activate ChickHEN more than 4 times and it still crashes.
A. Restore Default settings and remove memory stick. Reinsert after doing the settings.
Q. What does CFWEnabler do?
A. It takes advantage of the Easter Eggsploit found in firmware 5.03. Davee created
ChickHEN, which allows the running of Unsigned Code.(Homebrew). CFWEnabler adds M33
support to those less fortunate(PSP-2000v3+3000). Allows most homebrew+ISOS+PSX EBOOTS,
Etc to be run.
Q. Nothing works, It says it is corrupted.
A. The PSP was probably turned off. Reactivate ChickHEN and CFWenabler. That should
fix the problem.

ive new PSP 3000 ver. 5.03,my games @ CFWenabler doesnt work it says data is corrupted, after i chrge it, all my games are erased.what should i do?please help me out.thanks

I got it to work with no problems. But do I have to keep the chickHEN photo files on my psp?
I had fw 5.02 and everything went smooth.
i had it… the best way to flash the chickHEN was to open the chickHEN folder.. then scroll to the pic.. the picture on the button… then press O, it will go back to the chickHEN folder.. then.. you need to mash the X button quickly right after the option menu shows up… then voila… this works 80% most of the tym for me…

yeah sure thing… my next prob would be upgrading my psp to. ver.6.00 just waiting until a CFW for ver 6.00 to come out.. XD
