Now, a few words on the plush protagonist of this PSP theme: SpongeBob Squarepants was born on Nickelodeon in 1997. He first appeared in his self-titled show, SpongeBob Squarepants, created by animator Stephen Hillenburg (who is also a marine biologist).

SpongeBob lives underwater in the town of Bikini Bottom, where he works as a lowly fry cook at the Krusty Krab Restaurant. He is most often seen wearing a clean, white shirt, a red tie, and a pair of curiously square brown trousers. SpongeBob lives with his pet snail, Gary, in a pineapple house on the bottom of the ocean floor. His best friend is Patrick, who is a starfish.
