A little bit of frustrating news from the clip-on hardware scene: Datel’s Lite Blue Tool does not put your PSP Brite into “Service Mode.” This is seriously disturbing to a few of us who bought the thing for that exact reason in the first gosh-darn place.
On the website, they pretty much rewrote the product description to edit out the promise of its compatibility with the PSP 3000. Instead, it states that it “lets you enable Service Mode on the PSP 2000 and also works as a normal battery on the new PSP3000 (also known as the BRITE).”
Oh, well. We expected too much from the get-go. Time to brush our teeth, get a collective shave and a shape-up, and press on towards the non-existant glory of total third-party hardware satisfaction.
