Games- The tip for getting games, especially for PSP, is what you think you would play over and over and over again. The replay value increases if it has online capability. My favorites games for the PSP are SOCOM: Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank size matters, Star Wars Battlefront II, Midnight club, and Either Grand Theft Autos.
Video- Having videos on your PSP really makes a difference on road trips. There are free programs on the Internet for converting videos into PSP forms, for example Orbit .

The inspired anarchical implementer, Art, has just cooked up a truly interesting piece of ‘brew that’s designed from the top down to allow y’all to find and edit monochrome and 256-color bitmaps that are lurking within firmware files. Unlike older, but similar, homebrew applications, Bitmap Hunter does allow you to make changes to the images directly.
Quick lesson, in case you’re just tuning in: A bitmap is a type of image file format that’s used to store images with a specific color depth in a lossless format; bitmaps are quite close to raw image data, although they generally include header information…

Couldn’t be easier, fellas. Make sure you eyeball the readme for more detailed instructions on how to install the program and for some comments on its functionality. Thanks to Hotter…

The savvy code cook Thullium has just released an update for his pet application, Flash0 Plugin Loader. This nifty little program drops a seplugins folder into the root of your flash0, functioning just like the seplugins folder that’s typically found on a memory stick. On top of that, it resets the buffer to the exact size needed to hold the plugin text files. Thullium says this about the project:
“This has been coded for the 5.00 M33-2 custom firmware or higher, don’t attempt to run it on a lower version. The plugins you flash won’t show up in the recovery, but…
Soon after the release of Game Categories Revised, Bubbletune put out a few bug fix packages to address some little quirks that new users discovered in the software. Game Categories Revised v3 addresses the problem of a mysteriously memory stick icon that pops up on the screen at inappropriate times.
The V3 bugfix follows a quick fix that came out just this morning, titled v2. V3 is now the most current version, but users expect that some problems are still resident in the code. Here’s the changelog that was written for the second version:

Total_Noob has dropped the next iteration of his extremely popular homebrew application: Ultimate VSH Menu v1.02 has arrived, and it brings to the masses a terrific alternative to the built-in VSH menu that’s packaged with the custom firmwares. This version comes in less than a week since its last update, so let’s give the fella a couple of w00ts for his other-worldly efficiency. Here’s the changelog as it stands:
