f you think homebrew coding is awesome, then you’re in for a treat with this new version of the LuaPlayer Euphoria that has VFPU math, media engine, OSK and more! The new video above features the kind of app and game you can create with this LuaPlayer. With a few simple strokes of the keyboard, you can produce something like this 3D Cube.

The version 7 of this LuaPlayer changes:
- Ported project from C++ to C.
- Implemented AAlib sound engine (Mp3, At3 & Ogg Playback On Media Engine + Wav support) and wrote a new sound core. (note usage has changed, please see the samples included in the download for new usage)
- Added Swizzle & UnSwizzle functions (note : Images are Swizzled by default)
- Added move Image to Vram function.
- Added optional Alpha parameter to screen:blit(). (ie screen:blit(x, y, image, alpha) – Makes for easy image fading in/out
- Added VFPU math library.
- Added Sony Message Dialog System.
- Added Sony OSK System.[*] Reworked IntraFont support.
- Added option to free/delete Images from memory.
- Huge code cleanup.
- Various fixes that I cannot remember.
- Source code now available.

This version can add VLF library, fix WiFi connectivity, add AdHoc support, Tilemap support with collision and multiplatform map editor, more 3D stuff and Chipmunk physics library.

We must give props to the JPCSP team. They have been consistent with releasing regular updates for those who are using this PSP emulator for PC. I cannot count the number of times I have posted an update about this emulator, and every update comes with bug fixes and major revisions, which is always good for us.

Imagine you’re waiting in a foreign place and you have your PSP with you to wile away your time, but then you have to buy something and you realize that you don’t know the exact conversion of that foreign currency to your home money, what would you do? Homebrew coder uPSP_08 delivers his latest version of PSPMoney, which allows you to convert foreign currencies from one to another.

The changelog for version 3 is as follows:
- Now a total of 35 currencies (for gold and Iraqi dinar away)
- New intro screen with loading bar
- Exchange rate updates are now coming from the European Central Bank
- The language is automatically selected (can also be set manually)
- All code is now in a file, sort code and improves
- All the necessary images / variables are loaded at the start => run faster in the program itself

I think PSPs are making life and organizing a lot easier for us through these homebrew applications that are getting more practical by the day. Do check back in for more updates regarding this foreign currency converter. Who knows, coder uPSP_08 may actually complete all 178 currencies in his next update.
