Unfortunately for us addicted and waiting for the Gran Turismo, it will be requiring the new custom firmware 6.00. So unless you got the new cfw enabler installed in your portable handhelds guys, I doubt you will be able to play this new and exciting game. Bummer.

According to reports from TheSixthAxis, SCEA released a voucher code to some websites so they could review the game. The download is approximately 937MB in size and requires the latest 6.00 to work. These screenshots of the Gran Turismo are not from the actual game itself (although those that have been previously released are awesome, to say the least); rather, some site believes these are from the cutscenes of the Gran Turismo for the Playstation Portable.

There’s some clean-cut graphics going on there, and I’m pretty sure we’ll be blown away once…

In a Famitsu magazine interview with Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi, he revealed that they aren’t planning to include a DLC for the soon-to-be-released Gran Turismo Playstation Portable.

“We’re making the PSP Gran Turismo with the feeling of how would we make the first game in the series now, in 2009,” said Yamauchi. “So, we wanted to make the content fulfilling for those playing for the first time. And so, we made the composition of the software simple as well. We made it so it won’t tie in with the separate business of network downloads.”

But even without the DLC, Yamauchi guaranteed…
