How to put flash games on your PSP- You need Mozilla Firefox for this. Ok now go to your favorite flash game. Make sure it is simple, involving only the mouse and click, I picked Bowman 2. Pictures tell it all. Ok now go on Mozilla Firefox, and go to bowman2 (don’t have to do this game, just easier for this), go to the File at the top left, and scroll down to where it says Save Page As… , and save it to your desktop. Connect your PSP, and make a new folder on the PSP and name it Games, go to the folder and find Shock Wave Flash Object, and copy it into your new Games folder, Rename it to something you will remember. I chose b. Now go to your internet, and type in at the address this file:/Games/b.swf It will ask you do you want to run this plugin say yes.
Games- The tip for getting games, especially for PSP, is what you think you would play over and over and over again. The replay value increases if it has online capability. My favorites games for the PSP are SOCOM: Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank size matters, Star Wars Battlefront II, Midnight club, and Either Grand Theft Autos.
Video- Having videos on your PSP really makes a difference on road trips. There are free programs on the Internet for converting videos into PSP forms, for example Orbit .
Music- Unless you have a Ipod, the PSP is also good for just listening to music.
Pictures- Showing pictures on your PSP to your friends, and you can also set it as your background.
Internet- The PSP internet is fun when you don’t want to carry your laptop around. It can’t support large sums flash, so no videos, no games, no porn (unless its pictures:)
In case you guys are really die-hard fans, which you definitely are, here’s a blip from the Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology 2 fan culture. It’s the latest Japanese TV spot for the game. It’s super-short, a real subconscious assault, but you’ll enjoy it anyway. You can check out a little in-game footage from the ad, and there’s some cut-scenes in there to tickle your attention spans.
Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology 2 is scheduled to arrive at stores in Japan on January 29th. Its developers, Namco Bandai, haven’t confirmed whether a version of the game is going to head to the other global turfs, and fans stateside can only hope it’ll arrive on American soil. In the meantime, peep the ad, keep studying your Japanese, and, if worse comes to worse, you can just fly over there and play their version.
Maybe you can even grab a cool little studio apartment in Tokyo, too. Build a life for yourself. Cross-cultural immersion is the thing, fellas. It’ll not only enrich your quality of life, but you’ll also get to a play a ton of titles you’d otherwise end up missing.
Stay tuned for more news about Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology 2 as it drops.
In case you haven’t heard, the PSP hackers over there in the boot of the Mediterranean have been drumming up a fresh new homebrew application that’s been deemed GoblinPSP. Italian PSP community member Moscas describes the application as a “utility multifunction PC.”
Available here, there’s a changelog included so you can track some of the updates from the previous version. The most notable fix is the clean-up of a major bug that caused the program to stop working on mosty systems. The current drop is available in both Italian and English.
Load this one up and try it out. We hear it offers a number of interesting little features and might warrant some further exploration. Also could lead to further creative developments from the underground. A service has been implemented which allows testers to correspond with the developers in order to get the GoblinPSP code spit-shined and sailing towards its next release. We’ll keep an eye on its pulse.
For fans of drawing funny things like embarrassing words and phalluses on unfortunate, passed out victims of keg parties, check out this great little homebrew. It literally lets you draw in XMB or actually in-game. Use the analog and the R-trigger to actually make the lines, and hit the circle to change colors.
You’ll end up with rainbow swirls and fun outlines all over everything you can possibly look at. This is one of those little hacks that makes wasting time even more fun that it was before. File this under “show of all your friends how nerdy you are,” and expect them to at least buy you another beer.
