Homebrew coder biscottealacrevette has introduced Go!Tube, a homebrew streaming application for the PSP similar to the awesome Ultimate PSPtube but with some additional features. Notable changes of the latest release includes – added HightMemoryMod, now supports GoTube Updater repository and more.

PSP Live TV 0.4 – Watch streaming live TV on your PSP

PSP developer Nickxab has release PSP Live TV, a homebrew application derived from PSPTube that lets you play 52 TV stream on your PSP.

########WHAT IS THIS ? ########

This an application that lets you to watch TV in yur psp with the wifi.
It is a modification of the PSPTube that can play some streams.
Now it contains 52 TV streams.

##### INSTALATION ######

Copy the PSP folder in the memory stick root.
Now for the streams.
Open the folder called “streams” that contained in the archieve and you will see
some folders with names from countres.Take the channel(s) you want and put it/them
in the favorites folder in the /PSP/GAME/PSP LIVE TV/ folder.
Also there is a folder called “” that has the streams from the j13dj’s version.

STEP 2: How to make your PSP “Better”???

How to put flash games on your PSP- You need Mozilla Firefox for this. Ok now go to your favorite flash game. Make sure it is simple, involving only the mouse and click, I picked Bowman 2. Pictures tell it all. Ok now go on Mozilla Firefox, and go to bowman2 (don’t have to do this game, just easier for this), go to the File at the top left, and scroll down to where it says Save Page As… , and save it to your desktop. Connect your PSP, and make a new folder on the PSP and name it Games, go to the folder and find Shock Wave Flash Object, and copy it into your new Games folder, Rename it to something you will remember. I chose b. Now go to your internet, and type in at the address this file:/Games/b.swf It will ask you do you want to run this plugin say yes.

MacroFire v3.0.12 Released

Pen, the homebrew coder, is back to release a new version of MacroFire ,v3.0.12,which fixes support for all its fine features under PSOne-emulated titles (or POPS), a handy homebrew plugin that allows you to reassign the PSP buttons, adjust the analog stick’s sensitivity, and enable the rapidfire mode.The latest update fixes PSOne support.

PSP live TV v0.4

In the last version of PSP Live TV ,the HighMemMod was removed for bug fixes.So the homebrew developer,Nickxab is back to release a quick updated and improved version of PSP Live TV, a homebrew app that allows you to stream different television stations on your PSP using Wi-Fi. Currently, the homebrew contains 52 TV streams and now supports HighMemMod for better buffer speed.

Changelog:

The HighMemMod added again and it works fine now.

Homebrew developer ,Nickxab has come up with his first app for PSP , PSP live TV v0.3,that allows you to stream different television channels on your PSP with wifi.

Homebrew Emulator JPCSP 1250 V.3.0

Homebrew Emulator, JPCSP team is again back with revised portable playstation emulator:1250 v.3.0 featuring a set of another improvements and upgradations.

Homebrew Emulator JPCSP 1246

Homebrew Emulator team,JPCSP,has recently released another round of revisions for their playStation Portable emulator for PC. This latest JPCSP comes with more performance related improvements and more bug fixes.

Changelogs:
Revision 1246: First draft of GE viewport interpretation. Not yet fully functional: this feature has to be enabled in VideoEngine.useViewport to not break current games. Code review is welcome!
Revision 1245: Allow the configuration of the normal values in 3D Studio.
Revision 1244: Fixed lighting for directional light (no spot exponent and cutoff).
Revision 1243: Add more randomness to Texture hashCode for TextureCache (was causing problems when switching textures in 3D Studio)
Revision 1242: Lighting was not always completely disabled in 2D (spotted by tests of BlackDaemon using 3D Studio

Nanodesktop Blind Assistant Launches

Heralding a new era of utility homebrew, underground developer pegasus2000 has made public the first release of his CFW0005 version of Nanodesktop Blind Assistant. We saw some concept videos of this cutting-edge software a few weeks ago, and now we have the opportunity to get our hands on the application for the first time.

Take a look at this feature list:

a face recognition engine, that can recognize the names of the people that are present in the room (and the position in the screen), using PentLand algorithm. Our version of the algorithm uses VFPU to speed up the computations.
a room recognizer, that can recognize the room in which the blind is, through a x86 server (BlindServer) and the SIFT (Scalar Image Feature Transform) algorithm.
a optical char recognition engine, that can read to the blind a text that is grabbed by the camera
a colour scanner, that is able to say to the blind what is the average color of the image that is grabbed by the camera in that moment. This is useful for the blind for recognizing the color of an object that is in front of it
a mail reader, that can read the mail that the blind receives from a POP3 server.

Blind Assistant is a terrific project and just the kind of thing that we’re excited to see coming out of the homebrew circuit. We’re grateful to pegasus2000 for his steady work.
