Class Of Heroes, a new commercially released game for the PSP from developer Atlus, is slated to hit stores on April 7th. This is a nifty, feature-rich RPG that offers a possible 500 character combinations. You’ll choose from 10 races, 15 majors, and 3 alignments to give your character some serious customization. The developer promises a minimum 80 hours of gameplay, involving exploring dungeons, finding 1,300 item types, and marching around the vast universe comprising 75 maps. Monsters, puzzles, weapons, traps: All of the classic RPG stuff will be in here.
Class Of Heroes will cost $39.99, so put a few bills aside and stay all righteously pumped up for its release. You’ll want to really give your swordsmanship a once-over to make sure you can handle the roleplaying badness. Class Of Heroes promises to be a portable dream-come-true for the discerning geek. In the meantime, check out this debut trailer which recently dropped to get a taste of some of what the game will offer.
There’s a bunch of new visuals available from the forthcoming release of Dynasty: Strikeforce. Koei, the game’s developer, has ensured that the adoring public has enough eye candy to keep themselves sweaty for the release date.
The screenshots here include gameplay views, renders of characters, and stills from the game’s cutscenes.
Word on the grapevine is that a special edition Strikeforce-customized PSP-3000 bundle will arrive in Japan around the same time as the game’s planned release date. This rumor is not in any way confirmed, but would be a really fun, nerdy, theme drop from the big boys upstairs.
Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce from Koei is slated to release in Japan on February 26th. North America will receive the game on March 24th.

Beginning-of-year game sales in the Japan is an important figure for some industry statistics crunchers, so Media Create has dropped a list of video game bestsellers from the period of January 5th, 2009 to January 15th, 2009. The PS2 really knows how to hang in there, which, on second thought, isn’t really surprising, considering what a kick-butt system it was and still is. Here’s the official run-down from Media Create:
There it is, folks. Chances are you own at least a few of those titles yourself. Stay glued to your screens for more sales rankings, which we’ll post right here as the year unfolds.
